Moto3™ Jerez private tests ends with Ogden fastest

The British rider set a 1:46.090 to head the field on a dry Friday at the Circuito de Jerez-Angel Nieto

Scott Ogden (VisionTrack Racing Team) has topped the Moto3™ Jerez private test timesheets thanks to a 1:46.090 as the two important days on track in Andalucia end.

The lightweight class have been back on track putting their 2023 machines through their paces for the first time this season ahead of the Official Portimao Test on the 17th, 18th and 19th of March. Friday’s weather and track conditions were a lot kinder than Thursday’s, handing the riders and teams a good chance to shake off the winter cobwebs.

Ogden was the fastest rider on a dry second day, the British sophomore was 0.133s ahead of second place Ayumu Sasaki (Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP) and 0.225s clear of third place Deniz Öncü (Red Bull KTM Ajo).

Joined by the Moto2™ World Championship field, the Moto3™ class will head to the Algarve International Circuit for three days of Official Test action in a few days.
