Filip Salac (QJMOTOR Gresini Moto2™) took to the top timesheets at the end of Moto2™ Practice 1 as the Czech finished the session 0.049s ahead of the rest of the field with a 1:36.658. Alonso Lopez (Lightech SpeedUp) was the closest to the Gresini man, putting his Boscoscuro machine just behind him, despite a late charge seeing the Spaniard threaten the top spot as the chequered flag drew closer. Pedro Acosta (Red Bull KTM Ajo) sat at the top of the timesheets for most of the session but finished 0.099s off the top spot in P3.

Celestino Vietti (Fantic Racing) started his weekend in fine fashion as the Italian put down red sectors in the closing stages of the session to fall 0.257s short in P4. As ever, Aron Canet (Pons Wegow Los40) was well in the mix as the Spaniard enjoyed life toward the top of the timesheets, and finished the session rounding out the top 5.
