After experiencing pain in his right ankle after Sunday’s French GP crash which involved Maverick Viñales (Aprilia Racing), Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) underwent further checks back home in Misano.
Scans revealed that the reigning World Champion had sustained a small partial talus bone fracture. Thankfully, Ducati confirmed via social media the minor injury won’t prevent Bagnaia from racing at the upcoming Italian GP at Mugello.
