Fans have their say: who will be Bagnaia’s teammate in 2025?

Over the French GP weekend, more than 114,000 MotoGP™ fans took part in a poll to have their say on who gets the coveted remaining factory Ducati seat in 2025

It’s one of the hot topics doing the rounds ahead of the 2025 MotoGP™ season: who will be Pecco Bagnaia’s Ducati Lenovo teammate next year? The rumours have been rumbling for a number of weeks, so across the weekend at the French GP, MotoGP™ wanted to welcome fans into the conversation.

And the response has been fantastic. 114,367 fans shared their opinions in a survey that was carried out across our social media platforms, on the big screens at Le Mans and on The results can be seen below.

Marc Marquez: the favourite

57.40% (or 65,654) reckon it’ll be the eight-time World Champion donning factory red in 2025. The Gresini Racing star’s rapid adaptation to Ducati’s GP23 and subsequent performances sees the #93 become a title contender again in 2024, with over half of the fans who voted believing Marquez will be joining Pecco in what would be a tantalising line-up.

Jorge Martin has his backers

23.56% of the voters fancy Martin to be promoted into the factory set up alongside Pecco in 2025. After narrowly missing out on the title last season, the Spaniard has flown out of the blocks in 2024 and leads the Championship by 38 points heading to Barcelona. If it ends up being Martin, no one should be surprised.

Enea Bastianini: the least favoured out of the three

Just 11.90% thought it would be Bastianini who would continue to be Pecco’s teammate in 2025. Following a difficult debut season in red due to injuries, Bastianini has shown glimpses of what we all know he’s capable of, and is right in the title frame in 2024 too – The Beast sits level on points with Marquez and only two adrift of Bagnaia.

Little confidence in other options

Understandably, just 7.11% think it will be someone other than Marquez, Martin or Bastianini who will be Bagnaia’s teammate in 2025. It’ll be around the Italian GP where we should be news on who gets the ride, so keep your eyes peeled.
