TIME SCHEDULE: British GP sees Sunday shake up

There is a change of order on race day as the World Championship celebrates its 75th anniversary at Silverstone

MotoGP™ is back after the summer break, with the iconic Silverstone circuit hosting a very special British Grand Prix this weekend. Celebrating the World Championship's 75th anniversary, teams and riders are set to commemorate the occasion in vintage fashion.

There is also a shake-up in the race schedule this Sunday, as is typical for Silverstone, with the premier class race taking place after the Moto3™ event and before Moto2™.

On Thursday, a 75th anniversary special kicks off at 15:00 local time (UTC +1) before riders tend to their media duties. Championship frontrunners Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team), Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing) and Marc Marquez (Gresini Racing MotoGP™) are first up at 16:00, before 2023 British GP winner Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing) is joined by Raul Fernandez (Trackhouse Racing) and Joan Mir (Repsol Honda Team), both of whom recently signed contract extensions, in the second Press Conference of the day at 16:35.

Both Press Conferences, as well as the MotoGP™ Podcast,  will be available to watch as part of the MotoGP™ GearUP show with Jack Appleyard and Simon Crafar from 15:00. Friday sees the first track action begin, with Moto3™ first out of the blocks at 09:00 for FP, then followed by Moto2™ and MotoGP™.

Check out the full schedule below, and pay special attention to Sunday, with the MotoGP™ race second on the billing at 13:00 (UTC +1)!
