Marc Marquez leads Bagnaia on race day

The #93 was quickest in Warm Up, finishing ahead of Bagnaia and Alex Marquez

It is race day at the Motorrad Grand Prix von Österreich, with Marc Marquez (Gresini Racing MotoGP™) topping the pile on Sunday morning as the MotoGP™ field kicked off the action with Warm Up. The #93 set a strong 1:29.363 – ending the session with a 0.162s advantage. Marc Marquez was ahead of Tissot Sprint winner, Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team), who claimed second position as the riders practiced their bike swaps at the end of the session. Meanwhile, Alex Marquez took third and capped off a strong morning for the Gresini Racing MotoGP™ squad – 0.247s behind.

Prima Pramac Racing’s Franco Morbidelli was fourth as Jack Miller (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) rounded out the top five, adding to the Australian’s confidence ahead of the Austrian GP. Further back, Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing) was down in 21st on Sunday morning, with the #89 starting from pole position.
