Balaton Park

Situado cerca del hermoso lago Balaton y a solo 85 km de Budapest, Balaton Park es el nuevo destino de motorsport de Hungría. Inaugurado en mayo de 2023, el circuito tiene 4,08 km de longitud y un total de 17 curvas, diez de ellas de izquierdas y siete de derechas. A partir de 2025, acogerá MotoGP™, lo que supone un esperado regreso a Hungría después de 33 años. Con unas vistas espectaculares y una capacidad para 120.000 espectadores, Balaton Park acogerá el deporte más emocionante del mundo por todo lo alto.

Opened in 2023, the all-new Balaton Park Circuit, located near the stunning Lake Balaton, promises to be an exciting addition to the MotoGP™ calendar.

Why we love Hungary?


Hungary is a country of contrasts, from its historic cities and ancient thermal baths to its vibrant festivals and scenic landscapes. At its heart lies Lake Balaton, Central Europe’s largest freshwater lake, a haven for water sports enthusiasts, beachgoers, and nature lovers alike.

The surrounding region, often called the “Hungarian Sea,” offers vineyards, medieval castles, and thermal spa towns. Beyond Balaton, Hungary’s capital Budapest captivates with the majestic Danube River, iconic landmarks like Buda Castle and Parliament, and a buzzing nightlife.

The Balaton region offers a wide range of accommodations, from luxury lakeside resorts to quaint guesthouses and budget-friendly hostels. In towns like Balatonfüred and Siófok, visitors can choose between high-end hotels, family-run bed and breakfasts, and cozy lakeside cottages.

Tips for visiting Balaton


Lake Balaton is a real Hungarian gem, offering crystal-clear waters, sandy beaches, and a host of recreational activities, including sailing, windsurfing, and paddleboarding. Around the lake, you’ll find picturesque towns like Tihany, known for its historic abbey and lavender fields, and Keszthely, home to the beautiful Festetics Palace. The Balaton Uplands National Park is a paradise for hikers and cyclists, featuring rolling hills, basalt columns, and wildlife.

There is also of course the capital city Budapest just a couple hours away, which is worth visiting in its own right as it offers up a mix of history, culture, and entertainment. Hungary and Balaton makes for an exceptional destination to visiti, particularly when you mix it with a weekend at the track watching the world’s fastest riders do what they do best!
