Japanese GP: Motegi’s magnificent off-track activities!

Enjoy everything that the Japanese Grand Prix has to offer both on and off the track, as our flyaways begin!

MotoGP™ has landed in Japan, marking the first of our flyaway weekends, first at the Mobility Resort Motegi. It’s a pivotal weekend in the World Championship, with Marc Marquez (Ducati Lenovo Team) preparing for his first match point. Not only is it a big weekend for the #93, but it’s also a big weekend for off-track entertainment with plenty to see and do!

 

HERO WALK: meet home heroes

Once again, the Hero Walk will be at Motegi, this time with local heroes making a special appearance on Friday. The Hero Walk will begin at 12:25, giving fans in attendance the opportunity to meet and grab a selfie with Nobuatsu Aoki, Noboru Ueda, Shinya Nakano and Yuki Takahashi. It’s an experience not to be missed, so make sure you bring a pen to add some signature to your collection!

 


LIVE PERFORMANCES: stars of music and MotoGP hit the stage

There will be plenty of live music to enjoy during the event, with the evening festival kicking off at 16:00 on both Friday and Saturday. Hitomi is first on stage on Friday, beginning the show at 16:00, soon followed by Angerme at 19:00. On Saturday, wacci is on stage at 16:00 as the music continues into the evening, with CANDY TUNE turning up the heat before the Fanzone show ends at 20:00. There will also be appearances from MotoGP, Moto2™ and Moto3™ riders throughout the show, making it an evening you do not want to miss!


Q&A WITH THE STARS: find out the answers at Motegi

There’s plenty to enjoy on Friday and Saturday, with your chance to hear from the stars in evening Q&As. A whole host of riders will be on stage, including Ducati Lenovo Team’s Francesco Bagnaia and Marc Marquez on Friday. Meanwhile on Saturday, Aprilia Racing’s Jorge Martin and Marco Bezzecchi will be just some of the riders on the Fanzone stage, with the Q&A sessions beginning at 16:55 each day, lasting until after 18:00 on both days.

 

GET CLOSER: public pit walks

At Motegi, there will be several chances to step into the heart of the action and enter the pit lane to see your favourite teams. On Friday and Saturday evening, a public pit walk will take place at 17:00, lasting for 40 minutes. This is a rare opportunity for the whole family, with a special family pit walk taking place on Saturday. The family pit walk begins at 11:35 and is limited to just 200 people – so make sure you’re quick!


TRACK INVASION: join the post-race celebrations

The highlight for many will take place after the Grand Prix on Sunday, with fans receiving the incredible chance to head onto the iconic Motegi circuit. It’s becoming a long-time tradition, with this special access giving fans a unique opportunity to join the celebrations, soaking in the atmosphere following an adrenaline-filled weekend on track!
