Biografi

In 2011, Lorenzo Baldassarri was crowned Red Bull MotoGP™ Rookies Cup Champion after securing two wins and six podiums. Two years later, he made his debut in the Moto3™ World Championship with the Gresini team, though he failed to score any points—undoubtedly hampered by his tall stature. That physical disadvantage played a key role in his move up to Moto2™ in 2014, staying with the same team. In 2015, now riding a Kalex for Forward Racing, Baldassarri finished the season ninth overall with 96 points, ending the year strongly with his first podium at the Australian Grand Prix. The following season, he finished second at Mugello and achieved his first World Championship victory at Misano. He ended 2016 eighth in the standings and returned with the same team in 2017, where his best results were a pair of fourth-place finishes. A step forward came in 2018 with a switch to the Pons HP 40 team. That year, Baldassarri’s performance improved significantly, claiming one win and four podiums to finish fifth overall. In 2019, with several of his key rivals having moved up to MotoGP™, he began the season as a serious title contender—winning three of the first four races. However, his early momentum faded, and he ultimately finished the year in seventh. In 2020, despite a promising second-place finish in Qatar, he struggled to find consistency. The 2021 season marked a return to Forward Racing, this time aboard an MV Agusta, but the results didn’t meet expectations, and he lost his seat for 2022. Baldassarri then shifted to WorldSSP, where he impressed with the Evan Bros WorldSSP Yamaha Team, finishing second overall. A quiet stint followed in WorldSBK with GMT94 Yamaha in 2023, before returning to WorldSSP in 2024. He started the season riding for Orelac Racing Verdnatura on a Ducati and ended it with WRP-RT Motorsport by SKM on a Triumph, finishing 21st in the championship. Now, in 2025, Baldassarri faces a new challenge as he makes his MotoE debut with Dynavolt Intact GP MotoE.
