Former chief of the Australian Grand Prix Corporation sadly passes away aged 78

Former chief of the Australian Grand Prix Corporation Ron Walker has passed away at age 78, sadly losing a long battle with cancer.

Former Lord Mayor of Melbourne, Walker served as chief of the AGPC for more than two decades and had an incredible impact on motorsport in Australia, including the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix. He left his post at the AGPC in 2015 after 22 years, leaving behind an enormous legacy.
