MotoGP™ is all about racing, but there’s so much more to complete an incredible weekend in Malaysia!
Go through all the information about what the weekend holds, from the programme for the weekend, to the Fan Zone, Hero Walk and of course, the Riders Fan Parade!
The Fan Zone
The Fan Zone is the where you can get all the latest merch and where you could meet your favourite MotoGP™ riders! It’s located in the MotoGP™ Mega Carnival, just after the Main Grandstand.
There are some special opportunities since on Friday there will be a MotoGP™ Riders Autograph Session from 4:40 PM to 5:00 PM (limited to 100 Main Grandstand ticket holders).
The Public Pit Lane Walk
Want to have the thrill to be on the actual pit lane, snap some photos of the bikes and boxes and potentially meet some of the riders? Friday is your opportunity since will be the Public Pit Lane Walk from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Those who have registered previously on the Customer Service can access this, limited to the first 1500 fans. On Saturday, there will be another MotoGP™ Riders Autograph Session from 5:15 PM to 5:35 PM so don’t miss your chance!
Hero Walk
If you want to take your selfies and chat with your favourite riders, The Hero Walk is another chance (limited to 200 Main Grandstand ticket holders), since they will be meeting up through a designated area throughout the weekend!
On Saturday, it’s all about the Moto3™ and Moto2™ riders who will be there from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM, while the MotoGP™ class will be there on Sunday, from 11:20 AM to 11:40 AM.
Riders Fan Parade
On Sunday, the party atmosphere kicks off with the Riders Fan Parade, where the MotoGP™ riders will go around the track on a trailer and greet all the fans on the stands!
If you’re lucky, you might come away from that with some cool presents! The Riders Fan Parade starts at 11 AM, before the Hero Walk.
After Race Fest
After the Sunday race, the party won’t end right away. There will be a super special After Race Fest where you could enjoy some fantastic live music! This will be at 4:00 PM at the PETRONAS SIC helipad.
The festival will open with Defam, Gard Wuzgut, 6ixth Sense, Nidji, Feel Koplo. And then Ella, who will also do the national anthem before the MotoGP™ race, will perform. Then an all star performance by Smash Mouth, then Joe Flizzow feat Sonaone will follow and ending with the glorious Macklemore!
