100km dei Campioni: Bagnaia and Augusto Fernandez steal the show

The Italian partnered with Augusto Fernandez to end their year with victory at the Tavullia Motor Ranch!

Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) and Official Yamaha Test Rider Augusto Fernandez struck gold at Valentino Rossi’s annual 100km dei Campioni, clinching victory following 50 laps of action. The pair finished ahead of 2025 Moto2 World Champion and LCR Honda’s latest signing Diogo Moreira, who teamed up with Federico Fuligni for a fantastic evening at the iconic Tavullia Motor Ranch!

It was a Le Mans-style start to the race, with riders sprinting across the track to begin the 100km battle. As the chequered flag came out, just 2.443s separated the top two, with Luca Marini (Honda HRC Castrol) and Matteo Patacca joining the celebrations on Saturday after clinching the final spot on the podium.

Elsewhere, there were plenty of other stars on show too, with Pedro Acosta (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) teaming up with Moto2 star Senna Agius, whilst Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia Racing) paired with Tim Neave. Jack Miller (Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP) joined Lorenzo Baldassarri for the event, with Nicolo Bulega also making an appearance as the WorldSBK star raced alongside Luca Ottaviani on Saturday.

MotoGP Hall of Famer Valentino Rossi and teammate Mattia Casadei completed just 29 laps, unable to fight for the podium despite originally qualifying in second position. However, Rossi still enjoyed some success at his event, winning the Sprint on Friday!

It marks the end of the 11th edition of the 100km dei Campioni, with the stars enjoying the winter break in style before attention turns to their respective 2026 seasons!
