Italian talent Luca Marconi is in his second year in the 125cc World Championship in 2010, riding with Fiorenzo Caponera’s Ongetta Team.

Having already completed a full campaign in 2009 with CBC Racing, Marconi’s best finish in his debut season was 19th at Donington. He began his racing successes back in 2002 in the Italian minibike championship, and in 2006 graduated to the European championship.

In 2007 the transition was made to 125cc machinery and Marconi took part in the Honda Trophy and the Italian 125 championship, and in his first season in the eighth-litre category was the best upcoming rookie from the minibike category.
