Jorge Martin (Del Conca Gresini Moto3) was this morning’s fastest man, going ahead of his teammate late in the session after Fabio Di Giannantonio had led for the majority – eventually ending up P2, 0.092 behind the Championship leader. The Italian, when pushing for a quick lap, had a small crash at the final corner at the end of the session, rider ok.
Aron Canet (Estrella Galicia 0,0) - winner in Jerez last year - was third fastest on his Honda machine after a flurry of quick laps before the checkered flag, with Friday’s fastest man Niccolo Antonelli (SIC58 Squadra Corse) fourth quickest. John McPhee (CIP – Green Power) rounded out the top five on board his KTM, 0.465 seconds back from Martin.
