Dell’Orto - Official Data Acquisition partner of MotoE™

Italian company to play a vital role in the FIM Enel MotoE™ World Cup from 2019 to 2021

As the dawn of competition for the FIM Enel MotoE™ World Cup draws closer, the foundations of the newest class in the MotoGP™ paddock are taking shape. Following the second MotoE™ Teams Meeting at Mugello, it gives Dorna Sports great pleasure to announce Italian company Dell’Orto as the Official Data Acquisition partner of MotoE™.

The agreement will see the Italian company become play a vital role in the Cup, supplying the data acquisition system from inception until the end of 2021 in an initial three-year deal. As the ECU supplier for the Moto3™ World Championship, Dell’Orto are the perfect partner with whom to take on the challenge of MotoE™ - sharing the same values and commitment to progress that make the FIM Enel MotoE™ World Cup such an exciting project and challenge.Dell’Orto will provide a state-of the-art package, including data logger, inertial measurement unit, suspension and brake sensors along with tyre monitoring system.

The Energica Ego Corsa MotoE™ machine will next be back on track for a demo lap at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in the hands of 1999 MotoGP™ World Champion Alex Crivillé, with anticipation continuing to mount ahead of the debut for the Cup next season.
