気温２３度、路面温度３５度のドライコンディションの中、ウォームアップ走行で１番手に進出した５番グリッドのファビオ・ディ・ジャンアントニオは、３.０１８秒差の２位。新人勢の一番乗りとなる初表彰台を獲得すれば、もう１人の新人、１８番グリッドのエネア・バスティアニーニは、最終ラップに逆転して、４.１５８秒差の３位初表彰台。
１１番グリッドのホルヘ・ナバーロは４位。１３番グリッドのルカ・マリーニ、７番グリッドのマルセル・シュロッター、４番グリッドのニコロ・ブレガ、１０番グリッドのアウグスト・フェルナンデェスが続き、１７番グリッドの長島哲太は、１２.８９６秒差の９位。
２２番グリッドのイケル・レクオナは１０位。３番グリッドのロレンソォ・バルダッサーリは１１位。
１２番グリッドのトーマス・ルティは、４ラップ目に今季５度目の転倒を喫し、第２戦アルゼンチンＧＰ以来今季２度目の転倒リタイア。２番グリッドのサム・ロウズは９ラップ目、１６番グリッドのブラッド・ビンダーは１３ラップ目に転倒リタイア。
チャンピオンシップは、総合１位マルケスと総合２位ルティのギャップが８ポイント差から３３ポイント差に広がった。
