Rins crashes but moves into Q2 with Pol Espargaro

Team Suzuki Ecstar's Alex Rins got himself into Q2 at the Gran Premio Red Bull de España, despite crashing out at Turn 2, unhurt, after his attention was taken away by Bradley Smith highsiding his Aprilia ahead of him.

Joining the Spaniard in the fight for pole position will be Pol Espargaro after the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing man just got the better of his impressive rookie teammate Brad Binder; the South African missing out on Q2 in his MotoGP™ debut by just a tenth of a second.
