Moto2™ riders land in Jerez for private testing

Rookies and established intermediate class riders are in Jerez for two days of private testing prior to the winter break

From the 26-27 November, eight Moto2™ teams will be spinning some laps at the Circuito de Jerez-Angel Nieto ahead of the winter break as early preparations for 2021 begin just days after the 2020 season came to a close.

Marco Bezzecchi (SKY Racing Team VR46), Marcel Schrötter (Liqui Moly Intact GP), Marcos Ramirez (Tennor American Racing) and Augusto Fernandez (EG 0,0 Marc VDS) will be on track, with Fernandez’ teammate Sam Lowes sitting out the action to give his right hand some recovery time.

Jerez will see some of our 2021 Moto2™ rookies get to grips with their new machines for the first time. Moto3™ runner-up Tony Arbolino (Liqui Moly Intact GP), his compatriot Celestino Vietti (Sky Racing Team VR46), Barry Baltus (NTS RW Racing GP) and Cameron Beaubier (Tennor American Racing) will all be on track.

Other riders will don their new colours for the first time. Tom Lüthi (Onexox TKKR SAG Team), Stefano Manzi (Flexbox HP 40), Lorenzo Baldassarri (MV Agusta Forward Racing) and Hafizh Syharin (NTS RW Racing GP).
