Ducati riders set for two-day private Jerez test

All the Bologna-based MotoGP™ riders will be in the south of Spain from February 10-11 for some important laps

Ducati’s MotoGP™ riders are set for a two-day private test at the Circuito de Jerez-Angel Nieto on February the 10th and 11th, as premier class rookies Enea Bastianini (Avintia Esponsorama), teammate Luca Marini (SKY VR46 Avintia) and Pramac Racing’s Jorge Martin ramp up their preparations for the season ahead.

With the annual Official Sepang Test having to be unfortunately cancelled due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the first and only Official 2021 Pre-season Test will be in Qatar at the beginning of March. With the absence of the vital Sepang Test, Ducati's riders will be heading to southern Spain for two days of running.

New Ducati Team recruits Jack Miller and Francesco Bagnaia will be joined by Pramac Racing’s Johann Zarco, as well as the three rookies who are all on superbikes. Test rider Michele Pirro will also be on track, with the Italian riding the GP21 in Andalucia after lapping Jerez on Ducati a superbike in January.
