TIME SCHEDULE: Oakley Grand Prix of Italy

Stay up to date with all of the action from Round 6 of the 2021 MotoGP™ World Championship at Mugello

After a well-deserved weekend of rest after the frenzy of the first flag-to-flag race in four years at Le Mans, the MotoGP™ World Championship faces the sixth round of the 2021 calendar, the Oakley Grand Prix of Italy.

Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) arrives in Mugello as Championship leader, but hot on the heels of the Frenchman are Francesco Bagnaia and Jack Miller, with the factory Ducati riders looking to impress at the home of the Bologna bullets.

The weekend kicks off on Thursday, May 27 at 17:00 (CET) when MotoGP™’s finest take to the stage for the Press Conference. Quartararo will be accompanied by Bagnaia and Miller, as well as his compatriot Johann Zarco (Pramac Racing). Aleix Espargaró (Aprilia Racing Team Gresini), and local hero Valentino Rossi (Petronas Yamaha SRT) complete the line-up.

Wheels are on track from Friday at 09:00 (CET) for Free Practice, starting with Moto3™, then giving way to MotoGP™ at 09:55 and Moto2™ at 10:55 (CET).

FP2 will follow the morning sessions, where the premier class will ride from 14:10. After the conclusion of the Moto2™ session, the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup will have its qualifying starting at 17:35.

On Saturday, it will be the turn of the last Free Practice sessions and the qualifying sessions. Moto3™ will resume activity at 09:00 (CET). The pace will pick up at 12:35 (CET), when the lightweight class starts with its qualifying. Following MotoGP™ FP4, scheduled for 13:30 (CET), will be QP at 14:10 (CET), before Moto2™ takes over at 15:10 (CET). The Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup will then see its first race of the weekend at 16:30 (CET).

Prior to the main event on Sunday, Warm Ups begin at 08:40 (CET) with Moto3™. Then it is race time, with the lightweight class getting us underway at 11:00 (CET). The intermediate class race will be at 12:20 (CET) before it is the turn of MotoGP™ at (14:00). If that isn’t enough for you, then the Rookies Cup will be on track for Race 2 at 15:30.
