Hector Garzo to be replaced by Alonso Lopez at German GP

The FlexBox HP 40 rider will continue to recover following a crash in Catalunya, which caused several second-degree burns to his right leg

This weekend, the eighth round of the season will be held at the German Sachsenring Circuit and the FlexBox HP 40 will ride without Héctor Garzó in its rider line-up. The Spanish rider suffered a hard fall in the last race held at the Circuit de Barcelona - Catalunya that caused serious burns to his right leg of grade two and he is still suffering a lot of pain, so both the rider and the team have decided that the best is to continue to recover in an effort to be fit for the next race in Assen, on June 25, 26 and 27.

For this race, the FlexBox HP 40 sees young Spanish rider Alonso López join the ranks, who is currently having a good season in the Moto2™ European Championship in his debut year in the category, being on the podium in the five races they rode and placing second in the general classification.

Recently, the 19-year-old López made his debut in the Moto2™ World Championship at the Le Mans Grand Prix to replace another injured rider and now, again, he will have another opportunity to demonstrate his qualities and FlexBox HP 40 will give him all the tools required to complete a great weekend.
