2020 World Champion tops the standings ahead of the final MotoGP™ race of 2021; Rossi 16th in his last Warm Up session

It’s here ladies and gentlemen – the final race day of 2021 is here and topping MotoGP™ Warm Up at the Gran Premio Motul de la Comunitat Valenciana was 2020 World Champion Joan Mir (Team Suzuki Ecstar) with a 1:31.082, 0.148s faster than second place Takaaki Nakagami (LCR Honda Idemitsu) and 0.238s quicker than teammate Alex Rins.

It’s a huge Sunday at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo, as we get set to bid a fond farewell to nine-time World Champion Valentino Rossi (Petronas Yamaha SRT). 70,000+ fans are flooding to Valencia to see The Doctor compete in his final race, with fellow Italian Danilo Petrucci (Tech3 KTM Factory Racing) also saying goodbye to MotoGP™.
