Marquez steps up fitness battle in Aragon

It looks full steam ahead for Malaysia as the HRC rider was back on track at MotorLand Aragon on Thursday

Marc Márquez continues to ramp up preparations in his bid to regain full fitness ahead of the Official Malaysia Test in February, with the Repsol Honda rider back on track in Aragon on Thursday. The last time the eight-time World Champion was in action at MotorLand, we saw him go toe-to-toe with Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) for victory, but the number 93 was facing a different kind of battle this time around.

Riding on Honda’s CBR600rr, a change from the RC213V-S we saw him on in Portimao, at the counterclockwise circuit, it was another encouraging run out for the Spaniard. Recovering from a diplopia diagnosis, Marquez has failed to report any further symptoms since his return to the tarmac, and it looks full steam ahead for the first Official Test of the season in Sepang.
