LCR Honda's 2022 project launches on Wednesday

Alex Marquez and Takaaki Nakagami will reveal their ambitions for the season from 10:30 CET

Hot on the heels of Repsol Honda’s Team Presentation on Tuesday, LCR Honda will host their own launch to unveil the liveries of the satellite outfit. Alex Marquez (LCR Honda Castrol) and Takaaki Nakagami (LCR Honda Idemitsu) will showcase their RC213Vs to the world on Wednesday, February 9th from 10:30 CET.

First up will be Marquez, with the Spaniard entering into his third season in the premier class. A successful debut year in 2020 saw the Spaniard claim two podiums, and while he was unable to earn another rostrum last season, a P4 at the Algarve GP proved he still holds pedigree in the class. Now sitting atop a revamped machine, Marquez will be expecting to add to his MotoGP™ podium haul.

On the other side of the garage is Takaaki Nakagami. The Japanese rider begins a fifth season in MotoGP™, and will hope that 2021 can prove the year he ends his podium drought, having not claimed a top three finish since his Moto2™ days when he took victory at the British GP in 2017. The Idemitsu rider’s presentation begins at 12:00 CET.

As always, you can catch both presentations LIVE & FREE on motogp.com, as well as catch the thoughts of both riders and the figureheads behind the scenes. Make sure you tune in from 10:30 CET.
