Borja Gomez, born on February 10, 2005, comes from Murcia. He began competing at a national level in 2014 in the Spanish Minimotard 65 Championship while in 2015, he claimed second in the title race before taking on Supermotard and Kawasaki Cup. 2021 saw him claim his first title, winning the Spanish Superbike Championship in the Supersport category, before finishing runner up in the Spanish Superbike 1,000 Championship. Those performances saw him rewarded with appearances in the Moto3™ World Championship in 2022, when he substituted in for the injured Jorge Navarro with Flexbox HP40 at the Malaysia GP, and then again at the season finale in Valencia. 2023 sees him handed an opportunity full time, where he will partner Celestino Vietti at Fantic Motor.
