Ducati Team’s Andrea Dovizioso sits fourth fastest ahead of the race, the Italian will be aiming to beat Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) - who was P17 in Warm Up - on Sunday in the battle for P2 in the Championship, with pole man Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) fifth on the timesheets. There hasn’t been a Suzuki winner in Australia since MotoGP™ Legend Kevin Schwantz won at Eastern Creek in 1993, but Iannone is looking like he can change that today and with Alex Rins (Team Suzuki Ecstar) – P6 in Warm Up – launching from a season-best P5, there will be two GSX-RRs in the mix.
Alvaro Bautista (Ducati Team) crashed at Turn 4 – rider ok.
A classic Island battle awaits, and you don’t want to miss a single lap of the action. Lights go out for the MotoGP™ race at 16:00 local time (GMT +11).
