Spanish GP
After weeks of confinement, the green light was finally given for riders to return to action in Jerez. Fabio Quartararo (Petronas Yamaha SRT) admiring the aerial demonstration of the Flying Bulls, ahead of this fourth MotoGP™ meeting in his sophomore year, which he went into as the Championship leader. The Frenchman qualified on the front row but he couldn't translate that Qualifying form into a podium finish.
San Marino and the Rimini Riviera GP
A special stage in the eyes of Valentino Rossi (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP), as he lives just a few kilometres from the track. All eyes were on 'The Doctor' but it was his VR46 academy graduate Franco Morbidelli (Petronas Yamaha SRT) who stole the show to claim a maiden win in the premier class.
French GP
The 5,000 spectators present for the occasion had the privilege of seeing a French rider start from pole in his Grand Prix. Unfortunately, the rain thwarted Fabio Quartararo's plans in Le Mans.
Teruel GP
Johann Zarco was a picture of focus as he started from inside the front two rows for the first time since Barcelona.
Alex Márquez (Repsol Honda Team), was aiming for a third consecutive podium, a first for a rookie, but his first DNF of the season dashed those hopes.
European GP
Aleix Espargaró (Aprilia Racing Team Gresini) started from ninth after receiving a penalty for a blue flag infringement in Q2. It only got worse for him as he failed to complete the first lap.
Meanwhile, his brother Pol (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) started from pole for the second time this year.
Valencia GP
Cal Crutchlow (LCR Honda Castrol) heading towards the fifth row. The Briton narrowly missed out Q2 in his penultimate Grand Prix.
Portuguese GP
Jack Miller (Pramac Racing), focused and ready to stand up to the favourite: Miguel Oliveira. Unfortunately for the Aussie, the hometown boy was in a world of his own in Portimao.
