Di Meglio: “The first three races have been tough for us”

Avintia Racing’s Mike Di Meglio arrives in Jerez determined to claim his first championship points of the season.

The French rider was close in Argentina as he finished in 18th, less than 0.8s behind Bradl who finished in 15th and just 43 seconds behind the winner Rossi.

Mike Di Meglio:
“The layout of Jerez is very technical and tricky, but I’m looking forward to geting on the bike because we already tested the Ducati in November and we have some data from this test that will be helpful this weekend. The first three races have been tough for us; I think we should have got some points in Argentina and Austin. The main problem is that we have been fast in every practice, but we didn’t show it during qualifying and Sunday races. I hope to keep improving in Jerez this weekend. I like the track and as usual I’ll try to get the best possible result in the race.”
