Kent: “I’ve been working hard on my fitness”

Moto3™ World Championship leader Danny Kent says he is focused and ready for the challenge of the Gran Premi Monster Energy de Catalunya.

Leopard Racing’s Kent arrives in Barcelona with a comfortable 46 point lead over Italian rider Enea Bastianini in the championship standings. The ambitious Englishman from Chippenham, who has so far dominated this year’s campaign with three race wins and a further two rostrum finishes thus far, is eager to extend his lead further at the fast and flowing 4,7 kilometre Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

Danny Kent: “After the Mugello race I went straight back home to England where I’ve been working hard on my fitness so that I’m able to come to Barcelona very strong and determined. I am approaching this race with the same plan as always and that’s to work 100 percent on my own pace during free practice sessions in order to head into the race on Sunday morning confident and well prepared. I’m feeling good and happy to get back out on the bike although the most important thing for us is now just to continue faultless and keep collecting as many as valuable points and try to increase our championship lead.”
