Binder: “We couldn't have started the 2016 preseason better'

Preparations for 2016 got underway for Brad Binder at the Jerez circuit with 129 laps.

With the final race of 2015 having ended under a week ago, preparations for the 2016 season have already begun for the Red Bull KTM Ajo squad. Brad Binder was joined by new teammate Bo Bendsneyder for a two day test in Jerez, the two Moto3™ riders joined by several Moto2™ World Championship teams. The 2016 season will be Binder’s second year with the highly successful Red Bull KTM Ajo squad and a promising end to the 2015 has all parties hopeful of a strong year. Throughout the two days Binder set 129 laps and was pleased with results, riding faster than the circuit record. There will be a final test in Valencia on Monday and Tuesday before the winter testing ban begins.

Brad Binder: “The feeling we have found during these two days in Jerez has been really amazing. I'd say we could not have started the 2016 preseason better. We have worked hard, making the most of the two days and finding significant improvements. I am very satisfied with the work that KTM have done for us, because by changing the smallest details of the setup we have taken great steps forward. The fastest lap was very good and the pace we had was consistent, so thanks to the team and KTM. We will continue working next week in Valencia."
