Bradl: “The work schedule is rather tight”

Stefan Bradl continued to collect data on the 2015 RS-GP as he worked on adapting to the new ECU and tyres on Monday in Sepang.

The German completed 39 laps on the machine he rode last year, after Aprilia announced that they would not debut the new prototype bike for 2016 in Sepang. Bradl completed 39 laps and set a 2’03.978 to end the day in 20th on the timesheets.

Testing resumes on Tuesday at 10am local time in Sepang.

Stefan Bradl: “Here at Sepang we'll use the 2015 RS-GP, but the work schedule is rather tight for us anyway. The feeling with the new electronics and the new tyres must be developed lap by lap. The first tests of the season are always something special. You get back onto the track after a long break but it really only takes a few kilometres to reacquire the right sensations.”
