Bradl: “For now things are going pretty well”

Without a new machine to test, Stefan Bradl continues to do all he can for himself and Aprilia on the 2015 RS-GP.

As every other manufacturer tests new parts and upgrades, the Aprilia Racing Team Gresini continue to use their 2015 machine after a change in testing schedule, moving the debut of the 2016 machine. Without new parts, Stefan Bradl was able to focus exclusively on assessing the new Magneti Marelli electrical package. It is hoped that this additional information will make the transition to the 2016 machine smooth, hopefully providing a rough base setting. After 45 laps Bradl ended the day 18th. One final day of testing in Sepang remains for the MotoGP™ World Championship.

Stefan Bradl: “For now things are going pretty well. Coming here to Sepang in this heat for the first tests is not easy physically, but I am always happy to be riding again after the break. We are trying to do as much testing as possible, on the electronics and tyres, in order to make progress with our work. Many of the things that we test here will be very useful for the new bike, especially in terms of the electronics where there is still a lot of room for improvement.”
