Binder: “My goal is to win every race”

Binder: “My goal is to win every race”

Brad Binder makes his goal for the rest of the season crystal clear after another strong day in the lightweight class.

Free Practice 1 saw Brad Binder end down in 29th place having completed just three laps but the South African was unconcerned as he decided to spend most of the session in the pits due to weather. When conditions improved for Free Practice 2, Binder shot up the order to end the day in fourth, a position much closer to where he intends to be. A few issues still remain and if those can be resolved the Red Bull KTM Ajo rider is confident of being able to challenge for victory yet again. Having now tasted victory twice, Binder’s goal is to win every race remaining in 2016. He certainly can’t be faulted for his ambition.

Brad Binder: “The feeling was good today. We could say that we practically only had one session, the afternoon run. I felt very strong from the beginning and was able to ride fast with tyres that were a little worn. In any case, I think we can still improve because I do not feel entirely comfortable when turning. Despite that, my feeling at the end of the day is positive and now we will talk with the team to see how we can improve. If we are able to solve a few issues we will be much stronger. My goal is to win every race, but it is not so simple. If I can get on the podium on Sunday, I will consider myself satisfied, so tomorrow I need a good QP."
