Petrucci wanted more from Brno race

Octo Pramac Yakhnich man unsatisfied despite fighting back to seventh in race from 16th on grid.

Such are the performance levels Danilo Petrucci demands of himself he left the Czech Republic feeling he could have achieved more, even though he secured a solid top ten result from the sixth row of the grid.

Petrucci made a good start, managed his race in a consistent manner and regained position after position, until a double overtake on the last lap earned him a valuable seventh.

Although Loris Baz and Eugene Laverty got the better of the Italian rider with three laps to go, making the most of harder tyre choices, Petrucci remained focused and on the last lap he managed to pass Maverick Viñales and Andrea Iannone.

Danilo Petrucci: “I can’t say I am particularly satisfied even if P7 is a good result. It was a strange race. We had good pace in the warm-up and we have made many changes. The tyre choice was decisive. Maybe we could have had a chance with the hard front but we have goals and I wanted to do the race for my target, which is the top ten. In the end I managed to reach the seventh and that is not bad. I would like to thank the team and all the people who
