Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) went quickest in FP4 at the Gran Premio Motul de la Comunitat Valenciana, despite a crash near the end of the session; rider ok. The reigning Champion also topped FP3 and the combined timesheets ahead of qualifying.
Friday’s fastest Jorge Lorenzo (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) was second and Maverick Viñales (Team Suzuki Ecstar) third – with the three at the top split by less than a tenth. Andrea Iannone (Ducati Team) and Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) completed the top five - four tenths back.
Cal Crutchlow (LCR Honda), Aleix Espargaro (Team Suzuki Ecstar), Pol Espargaro (Monster Yamaha Tech 3), Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team) and recovering Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda Team) completed the top ten.
