It’s not long until the Moto2 ™ World Championship kicks off, and Forward Racing Team recently had their Team Presentation in Milan. Revealing their new bikes – recently having switched to Suter machinery – and rider line up of Stefano Manzi and reigning European Moto2™ Champion Eric Granado, the Swiss-based team are ready for another campaign.
"I am very proud to be here tonight," said Giovanni Cuzari, owner of a historic team that has been a major player in the MotoGP™ paddock for some time. "The team has been renewed whilst maintaining the cornerstones of the team in general. Moreover, a new manufacturer will accompany us on this adventure, something made possible by the contribution of new sponsors. It's not a radical change but an evolution, and in this difficult category like Moto2™, constant growth is necessary. I don’t want to promise great results with regards to placings and the classification, but I guarantee huge commitment from each of us to the end.”
Soon the team will be on track for the first testing, set for February 6th to 8th in Valencia – after having their first taste of their new machines in Jerez last season.
