Ramirez fastest, less than a second separates 1st to 22nd

The times in Moto3™ FP3 were unbelievably tight, with five nationalities inside the top ten

Ahead of qualifying at the HJC Helmets Grand Prix de France in the Moto3™ class, Spaniard Marcos Ramirez (Bester Capital Dubai) broke the circuit lap record to top FP3 this morning. Friday’s fastest man Niccolo Antonelli (SIC58 Squadra Corse) was second, the Italian also under lap record pace on his Honda, finishing just 0.029 behind Ramirez.

Argentine Gabriel Rodrigo (RBA BOE Skull Rider) was third fastest, with Spaniard Aron Canet (Estrella Galicia 0,0) 0.207 back from top spot in fourth. Italians Enea Bastianini (Leopard Racing) and Marco Bezzecchi (Redox PrustelGP) were P5 and P6, with Scot John McPhee (CIP - Green Power) in seventh.

Andrea Migno (Angel Nieto Team Moto3) crashed at Turn 3 for the second time this weekend – rider ok.

With the field so close, the fight for pole should be incredible. Tune in for Moto3™ qualifying at 12:35 local time (GMT +2). Click here for the full results!
