Continuing his flawless form at the Gran Premio d’Italia Oakley, which will see the Spaniard start on pole, Jorge Martin (Del Conca Gresini Moto3) topped the Moto3™ timesheets with a 1:57.126 in Warm Up. Championship rival Aron Canet (Estrella Galicia) was second in the morning session, the two Spaniards leading Italian Marco Bezzecchi (Redox PrustelGP) who was third quickest ahead of his home Grand Prix, despite a crash at Turn 2 – rider ok.
Nicolo Bulega (SKY Racing Team VR46) has found some form on home soil, the Italian was fourth quickest in Warm Up – can he fight his way to the front from P16 on the grid? Tatsuki Suzuki (SIC58 Squadra Corse) was another faller in the session, he crashed at Turn 4 – rider ok.
