Last year’s race winner Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team) finished top of the timesheets in Warm Up at the Gran Premi Monster Energy de Catalunya, beating fellow Ducati rider Tito Rabat (Reale Avintia Racing) by 0.082 seconds. Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) rounded out the top three, just 0.003 further back, with the Italian starting from P7 this afternoon.

Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) was fourth fastest, with pole sitter Jorge Lorenzo (Ducati Team) sixth quickest – Johann Zarco (Monster Yamaha Tech 3) split the two Spaniards.
Alvaro Bautista (Angel Nieto Team) and Scott Redding (Aprilia Racing Team Gresini) crashed in the morning session – riders ok.
