Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Leopard Racing) got his race day off to the perfect start as he topped the timesheets in Warm Up at the PTT Thailand Grand Prix, his best time of 1:42.535 was enough to head pole man Marco Bezzecchi (Redox PruestelGP) by 0.199 and third place Andrea Migno (Angel Nieto Team Moto3) by 0.256 in an all Italian top three.

Nicolo Bulega (SKY Racing Team VR46) was another Italian up the sharp end on Sunday morning, he was fourth quickest, with Marcos Ramirez (Bester Capital Dubai) rounding out the top five – 0.443 off Dalla Porta’s time. Championship leader Jorge Martin’s (Del Conca Gresini Moto3) left arm injury is still in question, but the Spaniard was able to finish Warm Up in sixth place – will he and the team decide to race later on?
Tatsuki Suzuki (SIC58 Squadra Corse) and Adam Norrodin (Petronas Sprinta Racing) crashed – riders ok.
