After earning his 50th premier class pole on Saturday, Championship leader Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) got his Sunday at the PTT Thailand Grand Prix off to a great start to lead morning Warm Up, but it’s tight. Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) finished Warm Up in P2, 0.127 behind Marquez’ 1:30.863 as the duo were the only riders to dip under the 1:31 barrier.

Maverick Viñales (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) starts P4 for the race, the Spaniard ending Warm Up 0.260 off the top spot, with third on the grid Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team) fourth on Sunday morning – 0.039 behind Viñales. Andrea Iannone (Team Suzuki Ecstar) completes the top five and with temperatures and tyre wear a key factor at the Chang International Circuit, can he mount another Aragon-esque podium challenge from P6 on the grid?
The inaugural Thai GP looks set to be a barnstormer as race pace times look very close, but who will emerge victorious in Buriram? Don’t miss a single lap of action when racing gets underway at 14:00 local time (GMT +7).
