Gabriel Rodrigo (RBA BOE Skull Rider) topped morning Warm Up in the Moto3™ class at the Michelin® Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix as he set the only 1:36 lap time in the session: a 1:36.948 enough to beat second-place Aron Canet (Estrella Galicia 0,0) by 0.140, with fellow Honda rider Tony Arbolino (Marinelli Snipers Team) completing the top three.

Title contender Marco Bezzecchi (Redox PruestelGP) was fourth quickest ahead of an important race for the Italian, he launches from P15, with compatriot Enea Bastianini (Leopard Racing) rounding out the top five in Warm Up. Pole man and Championship leader Jorge Martin (Del Conca Gresini Moto3) ended the morning session in P8, can he take advantage of Bezzecchi’s poor qualifying?
Calestino Vietti (SKY Racing Team VR46) crashed at Turn 4 – rider ok.
