Iannone and Viñales into Q2, Rossi 16th

Italian and Spaniard head for the pole battle as ‘The Doctor’ misses out

Andrea Iannone (Team Suzuki Ecstar) set a 1:31.382 to top Q1 at the Gran Premio Motul de la Comunitat Valenciana, the Italian beating Maverick Viñales (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) by 0.476 as Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) could only manage 6th – P16 starting position for ‘The Doctor’.
