Reigning Moto3™ World Champion Jorge Martin (Red Bull KTM Ajo) has sustained left humerus, head of the 3rd right metatarsal and 5th toe proximal phalanx of the foot fractures in a Moto2™ Jerez Test crash.

The Spaniard crashed in the third session of the day at Turn 2 as the Moto2™ 2019 testing schedule got underway, with Martin since traveling to hospital for further examinations.

The next Moto2™ test will also be taking place at Jerez on the 20th February 2019, which now looks like the next time we'll see the 2018 lightweight class Champion back on a Moto2™ machine.
