Marc Marquez: karting for Qatar

As we know, World Champion Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) is still recovering from his shoulder operation and – as he told us at the Sepang Test – his team have hidden his bike, forbidding him from riding.

As a result, the seven-time World Champion has had to find alternative ways of getting that adrenaline fix and preparing for the 2019 season, which begins in just 15 days.

The number 93 shared a video of himself, on social media, doing hot laps in a go kart, with the caption “We continue with the recovery, new exercises for the shoulder!”

Fellow speed enthusiast, Formula 1’s Lewis Hamilton, commented on Marquez’ Instagram post “Nice!”

With just a few days until the Qatar test, we’ll see if Marquez’ “extra-curricular activities” have paid off.
