This weekend marks the home Grand Prix for current MotoGP™ World Championship leader Marc Marquez and to mark the Gran Premi Monster Energy de Catalunya, the Repsol Honda Team rider has once again revealed a special, one-off helmet.
Marquez has enjoyed five visits to the podium at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya over the past six seasons to the delight of the Catalan crowd as his hometown Cervera is located just 100km away.

This is the fourth special edition lid he has used in Catalonia. The first was in 2012 with a 'Thunder' helmet, whilst riding in Moto2™, followed by the 'Gaudi Mosaic' in 2015 with Marquez having styled the ‘Power Up’ helmet for the past three years in Barcelona.
This season, the five-time MotoGP™ World Champion will be wearing the 'Signature Helmet' designed and painted by Dave Designs.
“From a stroke, as if it were a signature, we designed this special helmet, drawing the elements that most identify me: the 93 and the ant,” said Marquez. “Plus, the elements that identify the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya: the main grandstand, the tower of the straight and the piano characteristic of the circuit.”
The first time we’ll see the ‘Signature Helmet’ in action will be during MotoGP™ FP1 tomorrow morning so tune in to see this thing of beauty finally take to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
