Lin Jarvis, Yamaha’s Managing Director, addresses these questions and more in an in depth interview with CNN journalist Jonathan Hawkins.
In it Jarvis explains some of the factors behind Yamaha’s inability to win the MotoGP World Championship since its glorious performance in 2015. “In 2016, there was a new regulation introduced where we went to common software,” he told CNN.
“I think that some of the decisions we made at that time were in the wrong way, in the wrong direction, and we paid the price for that.”
