Has Miller solved his hand issue from the Spanish GP?

The Australian revealed in MotoGP™’s ‘unseen’ that he suffered from a numb hand in the latter stages. Is he worried ahead of Round 2?

If it wasn’t for troubles with his hand in the latter half of the Spanish Grand Prix last weekend, could Pramac Racing’s Jack Miller have sprayed the bubbly on the podium?

The charismatic Aussie certainly thought so as the MotoGP™ cameras caught his fascinating post-race reaction with his team and Ducati figureheads, admitting he “had incredible arm pump from maybe 12 laps to the end and, in the right-hand corners.” Miller was asked about the issue he faced in the pre-event Press Conference, but is it something he’s worried about this weekend?

“Struggles with feeling on the hand, I think it was more to do with position on the handlebar. Here is a lot of right-hand corners where you’re hanging out the side. I lost a bit of motion in my wrist towards the end of the race, I wasn’t able to be as smooth and I let a few blokes past,” said Miller.

So, it doesn’t sound like it’s an arm pump issue and with the changes he and the team will have made, there should be no such troubles this time around in Jerez. Is the number 43 in the hunt for victory at the Gran Premio Red Bull de Andalucia? It’s early days, but he’s got a good a chance as any.
