The Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli is preparing to host the first of an exciting double this weekend. The first event to be held will be the Lenovo Grand Prix of San Marino and Rimini Riviera, which will see racing return following a two week break.
As usual with European events, the event will kick off on Thursday 10th September with the MotoGP™ riders' press conference at 17:00 (GMT+2). To see the bikes in action, we will have to wait until 09:00 on Friday the 11th, when Moto3™ will take to the track for FP1, before MotoGP™ riders have their first free practice session at 09:55.
Later, the premier class will be in action again with FP2 at 14:10, with the day ending at 16:40 following the second session of the day of the FIM Enel MotoE™ World Cup, making its first return to the track since Jerez.
Saturday 12 sees the final practice rounds get underway at 09:00, with grid positions then up for grabs at 12.35 for Moto3™ in the first Q1 of the day. The premier class will battle it out for pole position at 14:10 with MotoE™’s E-Pole setting off at 16.10.
Sunday 13th sees the main action of the weekend begin, with MotoE™ holding the first race of the day at 10:05, following Warm-Up sessions at 08:20. Moto3™ will then take over at 11:00, followed by Moto2™ at 12:20, before the world’s top rider in MotoGP™ will see lights-out at 14:00.
