When and where to watch the European GP?

Find out everything you need to know about the Gran Premio de Europa, the next Grand Prix on the 2020 calendar.

There are only three rounds remaining in the MotoGP™ World Championship with the final triple header of the season starting in Valenica with the Gran Premio de Europa.

The Championship picture isn’t any clearer after Franco Morbidelli (Petronas Yamaha SRT) and Alex Rins (Team Suzuki Ecstar) joined the title chasing pack following victories in the Aragon double, while Joan Mir (Team Suzuki Ecstar) tops the standings with everything still to play for.

The weekend’s festivities kick-off with the pre-event Press Conference at 17:00 (GMT +1) on Thursday 6th November, with Mir, Rins and Morbidelli being joined by Championship contenders Fabio Quartararo (Petronas Yamaha SRT), Maverick Viñales (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) and Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team).

The bikes take to the tarmac for Friday’s Free Practice at 10:00 with Moto3™ first on the track. MotoGP™ will follow at 10:55 with Moto2™ completing the morning runs at 11:55.

FP2 follows all of this with the lightweight class out again at 13:35, with MotoGP™ riders returning to the track at 14:30, and the intermediate class at 15:30.

The Red Bull Rookies Cup is also back and they will see both their Free Practices either side of the main morning sessions, with 9:15 and 12:50 starts. Then, their qualifying concludes all the day’s runs with that getting underway at 16:25. We will also see the first race of the weekend open up Saturday’s action, with Race 1 of the Rookies Cup at 9:15.

Moto3™ kicks off the FP3 sessions at 10:00, and they come to a close at 12:35, and before the dust has time to settle, the lightweight class are on the track again as they jostle for grid positions in Qualifying at 13:15.

MotoGP™ have the chance for some final tweaks in FP4 at 14:10 before the battle for pole begins at 14:50 with Q1 and then Q2, while it will be swiftly followed by Moto2™ Qualifying at 15:50.

Sunday’s schedule sees no letup in the action, with the 20-minute Warm Ups starting at 9:00, before Moto3™ is first of the Grand Prix racing to see lights out at 11:00. Moto2™ will be next on the grid at 12:20 while it is then the turn of the premier class at 14:00.

There is still more racing to follow all that, as the Red Bull Rookies Cup will have their second race of the weekend at 15:30.
